
Baseball's McCoy Earns Rawlings Gold Glove Award
MARTINSVILLE, VA -- Carson McCoy, a sophomore outfielder from Patrick & Henry Community College, has been named a 2025 NJCAA Division II Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner. The prestigious honor recognizes the top defensive players in NJCAA Division II baseball, and McCoy is one of only three outfielders in the nation to receive the award. His exceptional range, instincts, and consistency in the field made him a standout throughout the season.
Additional Accolades
In addition to the Gold Glove, McCoy was named to the NJCAA Division II All-America Third Team and earned NJCAA Division II Region 10 Co-Defensive Player of the Year honors. His ability to make high-level plays and lead the outfield with poise made him a critical part of the Patriots' defensive success.

McCoy also made a major impact on the basepaths, becoming P&HCC's all-time stolen base leader. His speed and aggressive baserunning made him a constant threat and a key part of the Patriots' offensive strategy.
