OMAHA/COUNCIL BLUFFS - IOWA WESTERN COMMUNITY COLLEGE -- One member of the Patrick & Henry Men's Basketball team has been named a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Rising All-Stars presented by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Rising sophomore, Jaylen Faber (Columbia, SC/Westwood), was selected to compete in the NJCAA Rising Stars event July 13-15 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Faber was among 60 selections from around the nation to earn an invite to the Rising All-Stars. As a member of Team Shaw, Faber completed in three games over a two day period. In those games, Faber averaged 8 points, 4 rebounds, and shot 44% from behind the arc. 

This is an end of a great season for Faber, who as a freshman, received Region 10 All-Region honors along with being named a part of the Region All-Academic team with a GPA of 3.4. Faber is on track to graduate with his associate's degree in Spring of 2024.
