P&HCC Men's Golf Competes at Storm Classic

The Patrick & Henry Community College men's golf team kicked off its first round at the two-day Davidson-Davie Community College Storm Classic with a score of 331 on Monday afternoon in Thomasville, NC.

The Pats were led by freshman Ethan Cuddeback with a score of 78, while Seth Moore contributed a 79 and Peyton Whitlow added an 84. Fellow freshman Josh Dalton chipped in a 19 that included two birdies including a hole out from the bunker on the first hole of the day.

On Tuesday, Patriots golfers moved up two spots with a third place finish, leading all Region 10 teams.  Cuddeback finished with a round of 73, the lowest score in the event, and tying for first place- marking the best individual finish for P&HCC in a several seasons. Elsewhere on the squad, Moore finished with an impressive 84, sophomore Cam Robertson with an 85, and Whitlow chipped in an 87 to wrap up the day.

P&HCC will next travel to Charlotte, NC to participate in the Johnson & Wales Classic on April 17-18.
