The Patrick & Henry Community College basketball squads knocked off Guilford Tech CC and Southwest Virginia CC on Wednesday night inside Stone Hall.

WOMEN: In the first contest, the Lady Pats (4-7, 2-7) scored a season-high 91 points in a 91-64 victory over GTCC. Sophomore Ty'Nasia Witcher led the way for P&HCC, finishing with an impressive 37 points and a team-high five rebounds. Freshman Quandra Tunstall also totaled 17 points and secured two rebounds.

The Lady Pats shot a steady 72.9% from the floor and built up as large as a 29-point lead midway through the third quarter. View the full box score here.

P&HCC will next host Louisburg College on Saturday, January 28 at 2 p.m.

MEN: In the second contest, the Patriots (7-7, 5-7) notched a fourth consecutive win with a 101-80 triumph over SWCC. The Pats were led by redshirt freshman Jaylen Faber, who racked up a team-high 25 points, five rebounds and was an impressive 4-for-8 from three-point range.

P&HCC led only by a score of 50-45 at halftime, but stormed back in the second half to take a commanding lead. Along with Faber's big night, freshman Devin Binyard added 16 points and a team-high eight rebounds, while sophomore Amir Poat grabbed an impressive seven boards and added five points.
