P&HCC Announces 2023 Softball Schedule
The Patrick & Henry Community College softball team has announced its 2023 slate, set to begin Sunday, February 5.
The Lady Pats, fresh off a successful 31-18 campaign in 2022, will begin the new season on the road with a doubleheader at William Peace University February 5-6 before continuing the road swing with a pair of twin bills at Gaston College and Louisburg College on February 11 and 17, respectively.
P&HCC's first scheduled home contests will take place against non-conference foe Spartanburg Methodist in a doubleheader on Saturday, February 18 at Martin Field. The Lady Pats will also travel to Danville, Virginia for the JUCO softball jamboree at Dan Daniel Park as they battle Corning Community College and CCBC Catonsville on Sunday, February 26.
The Lady Pats will again compete in the Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina March 4-7, taking on several out of state squads. For a second consecutive season, P&HCC will also travel to Georgia Military College on March 25 and Gordon State College on March 26.
P&HCC will wrap up the 2023 regular season against Caldwell Tech at home with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 29. In all, the Lady Pats will play 17 home games in 2023 and will be led by head coach Robbi Campbell and assistant coaches Brandi Woods and Bryn Travis.
