P&H Athletics Hires Brandi Woods as Interim Head Lady Pats Volleyball Coach

It didn't take long for Brandi Woods to make an impact as she returned to Patrick & Henry Community College, where she graduated and was a two-sport athlete. Since 2019, Woods has been the assistant softball coach and recruiting coordinator. Now she has earned a new title, Interim Head Volleyball Coach.  "Brandi is a true representation of what our PHAMILY is all about," says Brian Henderson, the Assistant VP for Student Engagement and Inclusion and Director of Athletics. "She not only was a standout athlete but a superstar in the classroom, gaining the Academic Patriot of the Year award while playing both volleyball and softball here. She deserves this opportunity and will excel in the role." Woods takes over for Randi Robertson who stepped down to focus on her career in education. Both Robertson and Woods were teammates on P&H Volleyball's 2017 Region X Championship team.  "Patrick & Henry Community College has given me the opportunities of a lifetime," says Woods. "It is truly a PHamily that you want to be a part of forever." Woods graduated P&HCC with her Associate Degrees in General Studies, Health Science, and Business Administration. She also graduates with her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Averett University this May 2022.  As Woods takes over as the Interim Head Volleyball Coach, her primary focus is to recruit for Fall 2022Those interested in joining the Lady Pat's Volleyball program and gaining an associate degree from P&HCC, should contact Coach Woods at bwoods@patrickhenry.edu.
