In the second event of the 2022 fall season, the Patrick and Henry Community College Patriots golf squad traveled to Longleaf Golf and Family Club in Pinehurst, NC for the Sandhills Community College Flyers Invitational on Monday and Tuesday.

On day one, the Patriots secured one of their top scores in several years with a team total of 355. The Pats had three golfers playing in their first individual collegiate tournament, as freshman Ethan Cuddeback (Greensboro, NC) led the charge with a first round score of 78.  Fellow freshman Seth Moore (Oak Ridge, NC) began his collegiate career with an impressive 83, and team captain Cameron Robertson kicked off his fall season off with a 90. In round two on Tuesday, the Patriots worked their way to a sixth place finish as they fought back and improved their final round by five shots for a team total of 350.

The Pats had three players score in the 80's to assist and shot the teams best overall round since 2019. P&H was led by the freshman Cuddeback (159) who had a top-20 finish, and fellow freshman Moore (165) as both posted 81's on the second day. Robertson (176) improved his day two score by five shots with an 86, and Dalton (206) also showed improvement by finishing with a 102.
