LEXINGTON, VA - The Patrick & Henry Community College men's soccer team downed VMI 1-0 on the road in its first preseason action of 2022 on Thursday afternoon.

Freshman Enrique Jacobs scored the lone goal for the Patriots on a penatly shot in the second half, lifting the visitors to a 1-0 victory.

Thursday's contest also marked the first time the P&HCC athletic program was featured on ESPN+ outlets. ESPN+ is an American over-the-top subscription video streaming service available in the United States with 22.8 million users.

The Patriots return to action for another preseason scrimmage on Saturday, August 20 against USC Lancaster at 1:00 p.m. The entire 2022 schedule is available here.
