Coach Robbi Campbell reflected on the game, saying, "On the last day of the Juco Showdown, the Lady Patriots did not disappoint as they took a 4-2 victory over nationally ranked #11 D1 Gulf Coast State. The Lady Patriots finished the weekend with a 2-3 record, playing against some very talented teams. Over the weekend, our offense had 68 hits, 17 doubles, 3 triples, 4 home runs, and 63 runs. Kinzee Motley led the way at the plate, going 9-for-16 (.562) with 3 doubles, 1 home run, and 9 runs. I'm extremely proud of this team for the way they battled this weekend. We'll be back in action this week with a home game Wednesday against Richard Bland and a road trip to Louisburg College on Friday, weather permitting."
