P&HCC Softball Advances to NJCAA DIII World Series Championship Game

CHATTANOOGA, TN - Following a 4-3 upset victory over No. 1 North Dakota SCS on Thursday night, the Patrick & Henry Community College Lady Patriots softball team advanced to the NJCAA DIII World Series Championship Game. The Lady Pats will await their opponent for Saturday's Championship contest at Frost Stadium & Warner Park in Chattanooga, Tennessee at 12:00 p.m.

P&HCC is a perfect 3-0 in the NJCAA DIII World Series to this point, knocking off Herkimer Community College, Corning Community College and the top seed North Dakota SCS. In Friday night's game, Kyndal Hopkins and Makalah Wiggins both homered - with Wiggins' longball coming in the top of the eighth inning to propel the Lady Pats to an extra-inning win.
